Yam Ki Chan is Vice President at Circle, responsible for overseeing partnerships, policy, and market expansion across Asia. Since joining Circle, he has led the team in first-of-kind partnerships and advised regulatory and business stakeholders on how stablecoins unlock economic opportunities for individuals and businesses.
Prior to Circle, Yam Ki held strategy and public policy roles at Google Payments and Google Cloud, where he worked on partnership strategy, market launches, and government affairs.
Before Google, Yam Ki served as the Director for Global and Asia Economics at the White House National Security Council in the Obama Administration, where he coordinated the interagency process on US economic strategy in Asia and was a member of the U.S. sherpa negotiations team for the G-20 and the G-7. Before joining the National Security Council staff, Yam Ki was with the U.S. Department of the Treasury’s Office of the US-China Strategic and Economic Dialogue and Committee on Foreign Investment in the United States. Earlier in his career, Yam Ki worked in technology investment banking at Jefferies in Silicon Valley.
He earned a Master of International Affairs from Columbia University - School of International and Public Affairs and a Bachelor’s degree in Economics from Carleton College.
Based in Sydney, Australia, Ross Edwards is Senior Director of Global Financial Institutions at Ripple, working with financial services companies globally to accelerate and scale adoption of blockchain-based technology and digital assets.
Having worked in financial services for 20 years, Ross brings a wealth of experience in innovative use cases and solutions across digital assets, stablecoins, and tokenization, as well as broader application of technology and implementation of transformational change.
Ross joined Ripple in 2015 and jointly opened the first international office in Sydney, working with banks and financial institutions globally on the use of Ripple’s enterprise blockchain and crypto technology to enable new payment services for their customers.
Patrick Yoon is the General Manager of South Korea at Crypto.com, the world's fastest-growing virtual asset platform. With a verified track record in the Korean financial industry, he is leading Crypto.com's South Korea business by meeting the needs of customers and adhering to regulatory standards and practices.
Before joining Crypto.com, he served as Country Manager of Visa Korea and Mongolia for the last 3 years, building sustainable business growth through collaboration with key stakeholders in the Korean financial industry including regulatory bodies and financial institutions. He has played an instrumental role in expanding the global influence of Visa’s partners ranging from traditional finance companies to big tech and fintech players. Earlier in his career, Patrick served in senior local and global roles with Standard Chartered Bank in Korea, Singapore, Taiwan, and the United Kingdom.
