The Voting Assistance Workshop is designed to explain to voting assistance volunteers and American community members the absentee voting process, the step-by-step completion of forms and how to assist other voters in the community when they have questions about the process. It is an interactive, hands-on training session with the participants asking questions and making comments as the workshop progresses while reviewing forms and other resources.  Topics covered include: who is eligible to vote absentee, voting residence and its importance, how to vote by absentee ballot and when to send it, the difference between a regular absentee ballot and a Federal Write-in Absentee Ballot.
